In college, she was a walk-on at the University of Central Florida’s Women’s rowing team, and immediately was bumped up to be a coxswain for the V8s. After taking time off to pursue intensive academics with the Burnette Honors College and other extracurriculars, she continued her involvement with the sport by coxing and coaching an adult rowing program.
