Venue Details

Arrival Time: 

The bus for High School Athletes leaves from Oars & Paddles Park at 4:45am, it will not wait for late athletes! Athletes should arrive by 4:35am to load the bus. 

The bus for Middle School Athletes leaves from Oars & Paddles Park at 5:45am, it will not wait for late athletes! Athletes should arrive by 5:35am to load the bus. 

All High School Athletes not riding the bus must arrive by 7:00 AM at the trailer. 

All Middle School Athletes not riding the bus must arrive by 8:00 AM at the trailer. 



Estimated Ending Time: 

We expect to be done with racing and trailer loading around 5:00pm. 

We will be loading the trailer as we finish using each boat and will have a team gathering to end the day by the boat trailer before we formally dismiss the team. Any medals that are earned will be handed out at the end of the race day for us. We will have a ceremony to hand them out next to the trailer. 

Those athletes riding the bus home should be back at Oars & Paddles Park around 7:00pm. 

Transportation: 

Per Space Coast Crew policy athletes are not allowed to drive themselves to races. They must be transported by a parent or other trusted adult. 

Food: 

All athletes who are racing in the first race must eat breakfast before they arrive. Breakfast items, snacks, and lunch will be provided at the food trailer. Athletes must bring a refillable water bottle and must have breakfast before they arrive.

Uniform: 

All High School Athletes should wear their SCC uniform (if they are not in in time your athlete will be provided a unisuit or tank top to borrow). Middle School Athletes will be given the racing tank before their race and should wear black compression shorts and their team t-shirt. Also, remember to bring your sunscreen, bug spray, refillable water bottle, sunglasses, hat, and rain jacket.

Partly cloudy skies. 49F in the morning, High 58F. Winds NW at 10 to 15 mph.
